The Campaign for Greater Buffalo, currently engaged in a battle to overturn or have revoked an emergency demolition order on the historic Great Northern grain elevator, has contended from the start that owner ADM's submittals in support of demolition were far from ironclad.
Comerford’s job should be on shakey ground. If he is a steward for our land and buildings he needs to be more forth right in his decisions !! Especially with a structure like the Great Northern grain elevator. This is an outrage! I have writer to the Mayor and my Councilmember.

So, if Buffalo City Hall (or any historic building) sustains damage (in any form) they would demolish it?
The Central Terminal and Statler Hotel were crumbling (and many other historic buildings) but weren’t demolished.
